Allan R. Mordkoff, Esq. (born in Brooklyn, NY, 1964), graduated summa cum laude in 1986 from the State University of New York at Albany, with a B.A. in Communications. He is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa. In 1990, he received his Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law, Atlanta, GA.
He is admitted to practice in the State courts of New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. He is admitted to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, Southern District of New York, and Eastern District of New York. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
A litigator his entire career, in 2012 Mr. Mordkoff was recognized by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a certified civil trial attorney, a designation held by only two percent of New Jersey attorneys who focus their practice on civil litigation and trial work.
Mr. Mordkoff’s practice is focused on defending individuals and companies which are targeted in tort litigation matters. He has worked on the other side of the aisle, having represented personal injury plaintiffs in motor vehicle and premises liability matters. This prior experience has proven invaluable to his approach to litigation on behalf of his current clientele.
Mr. Mordkoff also has substantial experience as workers’ compensation counsel; many personal injury cases often involve a work-related component.
Mr. Mordkoff has served as a trustee on the Wayne Board of Education, and as a volunteer attorney advocate for the American Diabetes Association.
When not working, Mr. Mordkoff can often be found biking and hiking throughout New Jersey and upstate New York, and frequently reading physics books “just for fun.”
