Elizabeth Joanna McIntosh

Elizabeth Joanna McIntosh, JD, MA is an Associate at Brooks & Berne PLLC. where her practice focuses on the defense of claims involving general liability, automobile and transportation matters, premises liability, and personal injury litigation.

Prior to joining Brooks & Berne, Elizabeth Joanna spent eight years at a boutique litigation practice in SoHo, where she handled complex federal civil litigation. In that role, she developed a strong foundation in client relations and was frequently entrusted with sensitive legal matters. She also gained extensive experience managing high-volume caseloads, leading teams, and drafting substantive legal motions and briefs.

Elizabeth Joanna brings a wealth of litigation experience and a strategic, client-focused approach to every matter she handles. She is proficient in Spanish and well-versed in navigating the procedural and substantive demands of state and federal courts.

Elizabeth Joanna earned her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law and holds both a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts from New York University, where she concentrated on legal and international studies.
