Farah Khakee is Of Counsel in the New York office of Brooks & Berne, PLLC. She focuses her practice in the areas of insurance coverage, including excess and umbrella coverage, and risk transfer evaluations. She has specialized experience in general liability, additional insured coverage, premises and products liability, homeowners’ insurance, professional liability, and school and educator liability.
Ms. Khakee handles a diverse caseload including insurance defense matters from inception to resolution. She regularly represents owners, managers, and landlords/tenants, among others, in personal injury actions arising in a variety of contexts.
Ms. Khakee was previously as an Associate at a global law firm in New York and Of Counsel at a prominent regional law firm in South Carolina, where she focused her practice on environmental and construction litigation, as well as negotiating contracts such as AIA construction contracts. She also previously served as an Assistant Regional Counsel (Superfund) at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and a judicial law clerk to Honorable John D. Geathers, S.C. Court of Appeals.
