Raymond (Mike) Long earned his JD from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and holds a degree in sociology from William Paterson University. Mr. Long represents established businesses and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation. His practice focuses on the defense of claims related to general liability, automobile liability, transportation matters, premises liability and personal injury litigation.
Prior to joining Brooks & Berne, Mr. Long was national counsel for a Fortune 10 company. Additionally, he served as in-house counsel at a large international insurance company. His practice centered on defending individuals and corporations in transportation litigation and general liability matters.
Mr. Long also brings a wealth of real estate knowledge and experience to the firm. As an associate at a boutique New Jersey real estate practice, he represented businesses and lenders in commercial and SBA loan closings. Mr. Long is also well-versed in representing clients in residential purchases and sales and has a proven track record in successfully handling short-sale negotiations.
